John Sommerdyke, Board Member
John Sommerdyke is a Principal in the Grand Rapids, MI., office of the law firm Miller Canfield. At Miller Canfield, John represents start-ups and growing businesses seeking venture capital and a diverse range of companies in merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions, and general corporate matters. Previously, he served as Vice President of Business Development for a medical device manufacturer and currently serves on the boards of Salamander Technologies, Inc., Omega Medical Products, LLC, SunMed, LLC, Bay Medical Products, LLC, and The Association for Corporate Growth – West Michigan. John earned his B.A. from Notre Dame University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan.
